Laams, a community-based brand operating a flagship three-floor retail space, art gallery, and workshop in the Lower East Side of New York, partnered with a local graffiti shop deeply rooted in the street art movement since the 1990s to present the Orchard Street Art Walk.
Artists were handpicked to paint 8’ x 3.5’ wooden canvases adorning outdoor dining setups along Orchard Street and I was thrilled to be chosen.
Over the course of a few days, I illustrated and painted a design I created myself that highlights the partnership between the two organizers, as well as my artistic interpretation of connection.
